As a followup to my previous thread, here's another horror game recommendation: My Friendly Neighborhood, by John and Evan Szymanski.

It has an interesting take on the mascot horror genre, and the gameplay is inspired by Resident Evil and similar survival horror games. It even has a mode inspired by the Mercenaries mode from RE4 and later, though I haven't tried it.
