Several bands pulled out from the Victorious music festival over the weekend, in some cases just hours before their scheduled performances.
They were standing in solidarity with the Irish folk group The Mary Wallopers, who had their set cut short for displaying a Palestinian flag.

You know the night before the day after was good when you wake up with a big shit-eating grin on your face and only one thought on your mind: holy fuck that was a hell of a gig.
It was fast, frantic and over before I knew what happened. The pit was large, there was crowd surfing and even a stage jumper. After the gig ended there was a singalong to the Pogues' Dirty Old Town and a Free Palestine chant because we weren't ready to leave.
It was glorious!
