Choosing Ms. Marvel as the connection point is interesting, considering the difference in tone. At least it makes geographic sense though.

Unpopular opinion: Marvel has a good standalone vigilante story this season, but a hard reboot wouldn’t have stood a chance given the original show’s goodwill, so they have to soften (in a technical, story structural sense) it. The only other way it might have worked is to start a completely new character, staying away even from the Daredevil name.

Kinda disappointed Adam took Fisk’s bait. New #MarvelsWhatIf idea: What if Adam tries to walk away with the axe?

Now that Matt’s in the suit again (Muse will expose him right??), will Fisk try to Project 2025 him?

Please be an #AgentsOfShield crossover: the resemblance to AOS S5 is uncanny. As for Riri Williams, Thorne’s and Wright’s performances are admirable, but the way the script is written seriously takes away Riri’s agency, which I realize is the Multiverse Saga’s PoV of any fixed storylines. Still feel like they could have handled it better though.

Silly fun episode that makes you go “aww”. Darcy and Howard’s kid (edit: Byrdie) could also be seen as a declaration of the irrelevance of certain elements of the Infinity Saga going forward: villains, factions, battle tactics and scene designs. Bold. We’ll see if Doomsday and Secret Wars deliver.
