Sippin’ on summer while it lasts ☀️🍸 Meet the bold AF canned martini vibes of the Drrrty Thrrrty Martini Canned Cocktail – Dogfish Head and Creem Magazine.
🎸✨ At 19.5% ABV, this isn’t your basic beach buzz — it’s two servings of bold in every can 😎🍸
But let’s be real… the sunny days we’ve been enjoying won’t stick around forever. Soon we’ll be trading poolside sips for cozy rainy walks and overcast skies 🌧️🍂 — so let’s make the most of this sunshine while we can. Cheers to endings, beginnings, and weather that keeps us reaching for another cocktail! 🍹💛
Our deep thoughts on Drrrty ThrrRty.
We have to tell you we don't get a lot of vodka martinis on our review panel. But when Dogfish Head reached out and asked if we were onboard, we said yes. Not because it was Dogfish Head. But because we have a soft spot for 'dirty' martinis. Mostly because one of our beloved Great-Uncles loved them.
So, when it showed up, we vowed we would review this. And? It's pretty good!
With two servings per can, this is not your usual, floating on an inner tube, trying to lose weight RTD (Ready to Drink). Rather, this is a "I think I'll relax with a good book, an award-winning movie, or set an aside time for silent reflection" kind of read to sip.
Out of the can, you know what, we don't need to state head retention or that sort of thing!
Instead, under the light, there's an unexpected clarity.
Sniffing, you get the hallmarks of a 'dirty martini' if you include the use of olive brine, red chilies, garlic, and rosemary. Yep, it's all in there, while allowing Dogfish Head's Vodka to peek out from the aromatic blanket. But mostly, rosemary with some olive brine.
Sipping, you are immediately greeted by garlic, followed by rosemary and olive brine, before the cane sugar and chilies hit the back of your throat. Finishing, you get a semi-dry finish on the palate.
Overall? we'd drink a can, maybe while watching the upcoming Oscars or something.
