"Something's gotten hold of my heart" - Marc Almond featuring special guest star Gene Pitney.
Studio performance recorded three weeks ago. Marc sings in his leather jacket, sharp haircut, emotes heavily. And then Gene comes in, suit and no tie, sharp as a knife with a mop of grey hair.
A string section plays the piano break, Marc gives a cheeky wink to the camera, the two men subtly move together across the stage. Tremendously camp, and quite effective.

Second half of the video tonight, beginning with the bit where Gene's singing as a car drives through Monaco and into a swanky hotel, where he almost bumps into Cher.
Marc was reportedly upset about being "upstaged" by Gene two weeks ago, so of course the producer selects the bit of the song where Marc gets literally six lines on his own. Well done, Mr. Ciani.
