अश्रूंचे तलम तंतू अडविती वेदना।
विरह हा संपला तरी वसंत का फुलेना
हास्य उमटले जरी का न उमटती भावना
दूर मी होतो तरी किंतु हा नसावा
का तुझ्या डोळयांत मला अनोळखीपणा दिसावा?

मी शोधत बसतो…
मी शोधत बसतो.मी शोधत बसतो, माझ्या मनातल्या एका हरवलेल्या पाखराला
ज्याला खूप उंच उडायचं होतं, गरूडापेक्षाही वर.
करायच्या होत्या त्याला ढगांशी गुजगोष्टी आणि वाऱ्याशी स्पर्धा.
पण प्रयत्नच केला नाही त्याने कधी
घरट्यातून बाहेर पडून उडण्याचा….(१)
बळ होते त्या वाघाच्या पंजात पण,
तो छोट्या शिकारींवरच समाधान मानत राहिला.
शेवटी त्याची डरकाळी विरून गेली….(२)
अजूनही तोच उत्साह त्याच्या मनात आहे..
त्या मोराला आपला पिसारा जगाला फुलवून दाखवायचा आहे पण,
आकाशात श्यामवर्णी मेघ दाटून येण्याची वाट बघत
तो नुसताच उभा आहे….(३)

Rohini LakshanéWhile translating some of my writing to Marathi, I figured that there is no word for 'data.' The closest is आकडेवारी (ākadevārī) meaning 'statistics.' Hence, the loanword डेटा (ḍeṭā) is used in Marathi.
