Listicle (2/2): some software and widgets I love using on my #Fedora #KDE daily driver (not all of them Linux exclusive)
6. #PortProton - I had trouble installing and playing some non-Steam/Windows games directly on #Wine, and I didn't have the troubleshooting skills to figure out why/how. Installing PortProton instantly fixed this.
7. Idler games - my #ADHD brain loves background stimulation. Sometimes I just play stuff on YouTube, but it is fun to have a customisable desktop companion(s) to scratch that "study buddy" itch. #spirit_city_lofi_sessions and #gourdlets match my vibe. I am always on the lookout for more - if you have any recs for me.
8. Note apps - first I wanted to land on a single all-purpose use app for my notes, then I gave up on that search and decided to use three different apps instead. I use #AnyType for journaling and task management, #UpNote for article/"content" writing and notes on-the-go and #Manuskript for story-writing.
9. #Beeper - Who has time for multiple chat apps? Beeper does claim to respect privacy, though, as with any proprietary app, I take it with a grain-of-salt (even Signal chats can be leaked, so nothing beats IRL communication really)
10. #Krita - it's come so far! The community is so supportive too!
11. #fooyin - Beast of a music library/player (plus so customizable)!
