Not a bad way to see out 2025 - looking across Herefordshire towards Wales from Black Hill in the #MalvernHills range
It was mistakenly thought to be #Yorkshire a couple of years ago, apparently.

A quick shufti for the history revealed the recreation ground being donated in 1863. I was rather expecting the twain to be more widely separated in time.
After todayβs #election leafleting round for the #greenparty I took the pretty way home, along the Iron Age salt road that runs along the ridge of Oxhill, with fabulous views of the #MalvernHills
Wood Street was part of a network of salt roads fanning out from the brine pits of Droitwich and reputedly crossed the #malverns at Wyche before heading to South #Wales
