This past weekend, I picked up another variety pack of Monsters "The Beast Unleashed" alcoholic Monsters.

Adding to the list of those I have tried before, we get Pink Poison, Killer Sunrise, and Gnarly Grape. Let's go through them again, one by one.

Pink Poison - It's Pink Lemonade Monster. That's not a complaint, it's a smooth, tasty flavor.

Killer Sunrise - Citrus Punch, basically. Kind of an orangish-lemonadeish flavor to it overall, which I really enjoyed.

Gnarly Grape - Fake Grape. That's the flavor. Artificial Grape. If you like Grape Soda and things like that, you may like this. If not, hard pass.

With these three new ones added in, here's my new definitive favorites list:
1. White Haze
2. Killer Sunrise
3. Mean Green
4. Pink Poison
5. Scary Berries
6. Perfect Peach
7. Gnarly Grape

Artificial grape is not my thing.

So, last week I reported on the "Beast Unleashed" Monster Energy flavored hard beverage "White Haze."

Well, this weekend I tried all three of the other flavors: Mean Green, Scary Berries, and Peach Perfect.

My opinions?

Mean Green tastes like classic Monster. If you like that, you'll like this.

Perfect Peach is decent. It tastes like artificial peach flavoring with that Monster flavor you see throughout their drinks. Still good.

Scary Berries I liked a lot. I can't tell exactly what berry it's going for, but it has a generic berry flavor that is tasty.

Overall, enjoyed the case. Liked each flavor. Would drink again.

I was at the liquor store the other day picking up, honestly, more vodka to try some odd candy + vodka mixtures when I happened to notice a case of Monster "The Beast Unleashed."

Each can was a different flavor of Monster Energy Drinks, in alcoholic form with 6.0% alcohol. Also, of note, no caffeine.

So, I picked up a full case.

First one to try? White Haze. As someone who really enjoys the white Monster Energy Zero Ultra, I was wondering what this one would taste like. The answer? Like that. It tasted like Monster Energy Zero Ultra...

That's it.

I liked it. Would and will drink again. I have quite a few more in that case. So, I'll report back on the other flavors as I go through them!

So, over the weekend I was in Pennsylvania with the family at an amusement park. That's when I noticed that Hard Mountain Dew was available in PA, but not in my home state of Maryland.

So, I picked myself up a 20 ounce can of Hard Mountain Dew and one of Hard Baja Blast to try out. Let me tell you...it certainly is Hard Mountain Dew.

No, seriously. It tastes like Mountain Dew with a slight alcohol flavor and a bit of that malt beverage aftertaste you get from a Mike's Hard Lemonade or a Smirnoff Ice. The Baja Blast, specifically, tasted even more just like a Baja Blast and had less of an aftertaste than the original Hard Mountain Dew.

Overall, I liked them. Do plan to get again next time I travel through PA.
