Inzwischen habe ich ein #X1tab gen3 von #levono und habe die tablet-Funktion mit #opensuse #tumbleweed und Plasma Mobile gut zum Laufen bekommen. Vorher noch die #maliit-Tastatur installiert. Auch der #pen wird erkannt in #xournal (leider nur dort).
Nur mit kde-Plasma (ohne mobile) geht es leider nicht bei mir in der reinen tablet-Funktion.
Ich bin sehr erfreut über mein neues Spielzeug 😀
AlexanderMars@gnometsunami well, I’m mostly curious about the stylus performance on the V3 in either Krita or Inkscape. Which should be distro agnostic.
I’m actually surprised Debian/Gnome is working, I tried that combination a few years ago and found it unusable. I’m glad it’s working for you, KDE is not without issues, the #maliit keyboard situation is more of an beta experience. As an #accessibility feature it needs serious love. Certain distributions are constantly breaking it.
KasionTwo weeks on a #surfacepro 7 using #archlinux and #KDE6! The #maliit touch screen keyboard is a bit clunky at times but I sure am loving this thing. Just shame that's pretty much ewaste soon as this battery is dead in another year or two.
sunweaver#Lomiri in #Debian testing/unstable is about to be fully usable on #Linux #tablets. Only corner stone missing (except from a lot of fine-tuning and a greater pool of installable apps) is the on-screen keyboard (#OSK). We use #Maliit keyboard for this, but the keyboard stubbornly refuses to appear on screen. If there is some dev out there who would like to help with that (and has tinkered with Maliit before in other environments), please ping ([email protected]). Thanks!
