@MakersHour I already mentioned it. #Makespace is my place of inspiration. So many creative people from different #maker disciplines. From computing and electronics to glass working, jewellery, laser cutting crafts and #3dprinting, not to mention textiles and leatherwork, woodwork and metalwork. I mentioned the lino cut printing. There is also vinyl cut work and screen printing. All in one place. #MakersHour

Had a play with the 3D scanner (Creality Raptor) at Cambridge #Makespace last night, scanning some #fossils we collected in Lyme Regis last month. I was impressed with how much detail it was able to pick up from small objects. I learned how to scan both sides of an object and join the parts to make a complete 3D model.

The cloud chamber is assembled with a proper display installed. Now testing how cold we can get the temperature plate. Nat and I will be showing this project at the #RaspberryPi Birthday this coming Saturday at #Makespace in Cambridge.
