Schulen in #Syrien sind in einem schlimmen Zustand. Das Erdbeben am 6. Februar 2023 richtete auch an Schulgebäuden schwere Schäden an. Mit Fördergeldern vom Kinderhilfswerk Global Care können wir nun nun 3 Schulen reparieren.
Wir haben mit der Karasor-Schule in einem Dorf bei #Dêrik begonnen. Vor Ort waren unsere Partner*innen von der Stadtverwaltung, der Şaredarî, und von #MakeRojavaGreenAgain.
Es wird eine richtig tolle Abschlussveranstaltung.
Wir haben ein Podiumsgespräch geplant mit eine*r Vertreter*in der Initiative #MakeRojavaGreenAgain und mit Vertreter*innen der Behörden der Stadt #Dêrik, die ebenfalls maßgeblich an der Projektumsetzung beteiligt waren.

Morgen ist #WorldKobaneDay. Die Kampagne Solardarity for Rojava macht im Aquarium im Südblock eine Veranstaltung aus diesem Anlass.
#Solardarity sammelt Geld, 1.000.000 €, so das Ziel, für Solarenergie für #Rojava.
Nach den türkische Bombardements in Rojava sind Berichten zufolge über 600 Wasserbrunnen außer Betrieb.
@staepa_derik hat erst kürzlich mit #MakeRojavaGreenAgain und der Stadtverwaltung #Dêrik einen solar betrieben Brunnen fertig gestellt.
Ich bin gespannt ob es für die Akteure vor Ort Anforderungen gibt, die Brunnen mit Solarstrom auszustatten.

Although I am fully convinced by the so totally good ideas of democratic confederalism, no leader, thinker or philospher is infallible. This includes, as hard as it must be for some kurdish comrades, also Apo (Abdullah Öçalan). All humans are children of the influences of their society. Wr should never forget this and allow necessary criticism.
Apo's ideas and the movement he founded still deserve full support, as they have solutions for so many of our problems. It still amazes me that he achieved to democratize top-down a Marxist-Leninist Guerilla with no real future and transformed it into one of the lighthouses of humanity, providing a viable perspective for the region and all of us.
Even more so, that he wrote the bools during years of isolation in prison with nobody to debate his positions than the ants of his cell.
So the responsibility of checking for darker parts in his analyses is ours.
Let's be critically-constructive allies!
Nejen na Ukrajině je aktuálně klíčová civilní infrastruktura terčem masivních útoků ze strany agresora. Turecko, stát s 2. nejsilnější armádou v rámci NATO, dlouhodobě napadá důležitou infrastrukturu v sev. a vých. Sýrii (#Rojava). Internacionalistická iniciativa #MakeRojavaGreenAgain vydala brožuru, kde popisuje kontext tureckých útoků a hodnotí jejich dopady. Ze strany Turecka jde o válečné zločiny!
