So glad I never got into this stupid hobby.

I was into modding my tablet and phone with CyanogenMod 10 years ago as a mere 14 year old, lol. CWM was losing popularity and TWRP was becoming popular. Magisk was not yet a thing back then

It was all fun until the CMod team chose the other path on that "fork in the road." I wonder where the cyanogen people are now...

After upgrading my #Pixel6a from #LineageOS 23 to LineageOS 23.2, I am unable to obtain #root using the usual method via #Magisk. It results in trying to boot to fall back to fastboot mode.

I am thinking of downgrading to LineageOS 23, but that will involve losing the data partition and thus having to reconfigure the whole device.

Any ideas are welcome about how to overcome this issue. 🙏

Au passage, je suis passé de #Magisk ( https://github.com/topjohnwu/Magisk ) a #apatch ( https://github.com/bmax121/APatch ), aussi avec quelques plugins.
Toutes les applis se sont mises a fonctionner.

J'ai pas creusé beaucoup, mais #Magisk fournit #Root par défaut a tout le monde, sauf a mettre en 'deny list'.
#apatch fait le contraire, et il faut autoriser #Root un par un.

Je pense aussi que, comme c'est plus récent, les détections sont différentes.

En tout cas, ca-marche™️

麻了， #Root 讓人失望，我已經準備好回到normie的 #Android 世界了。

Xperia 10 V的 #LineageOS 太不穩定，刷回早已停止更新的原廠Android 15。維持APatch root的使用模式。可是也許是5.10核心問題，或是APatch的鍋，手機會隨機重開機...唉，加上Play Integrity Fix最近又又又失效了，種種問題讓我想鎖上Bootloader放棄思考了。

畢竟我root只想刷Dolby Atmos音效而已...其實沒有也沒差，RootlessJamesDSP就能替代。

另一方面，Xperia 1 III刷回原廠，雖然已經停止更新Android 13還是能用的。再用APatch root讓一般遊戲偵測不到才能使用降頻防發熱模組， #Magisk 太容易被偵測到，兼具備用機與遊戲機的用途。
