A tenuous connection to yesterday’s #Fiat 600 Multipla. This 1950s Magirus-Deutz lorry is a feature of the truck stop (Autohof) on the A2 Autobahn near Porta Westfalica - snapped en route to Berlin on a German road trip in 2018. These trucks had air-cooled engines, hence the rounded bonnet and absence of a grille. #MagirusDeutz was absorbed into the Fiat-aligned #IVECO in 1975 and the Magirus name is now associated with fire appliances. #WeirdCarMastodon #davidsdailycar
