The crackle tubes are for a neat job coming up in Manhattan. Some kind of restaurant in Soho on Norfolk street. It will have perhaps the most of these crackle tubes in NYC inside of it. It should be installing later this week (as soon as I fit check and make the last few tubes)

While doing some research into DIY phosphor coating for custom tube colors, a Dutch lady told me of a method of blowing sponges wet with binder through tubes with compressed air. While my binder ingredients are in the mail, I decided to put this sponge through tube to the test. Results in video.

The "sorry" at the end is me apologizing to someone that the sponge shot across the room at. The compressed air works REALLY well!

I made this loopy phosphor wiped Coily thing on Saturday! I have been wanting to make this shape in orange for months now since first making it. It's squat flat shape would go on a wall nicely..... Or on a table.
It's a long and heavy one, I think about 15-18 feet of glass (almost 2 lbs)- the final bends are tough!
The light it makes is still a little orangey/ pinky but pretty nice though!

Here is a rainbow of Murano glass colors filled with helium. It's an early one- and the emerald has a chunky, chewy, coppery bend in it. With the helium it gives off a nice soft warm glow.

It lit up the corner kitchen window in my old apartment- and could help light up your life too! Usually helium runs hot, this one doesn't. Message me if your interested in buying it.

Added neon to the sculpture and added some new CDS cells and a power supply. Now it's just one plug. Oh this is a fun one!

This is a little snippet of it after it had been on for about three hours- it's usually relatively mellow, but has some nice bursts.

I want to add an electrically sensitive xenon wiggly aquamarine tube around the bottom.... And maybe mess around with what circuits the transformers are plugged into.

It's a Wild One alright!
