I am investigating more seriously if #WYSIWYG #word #processing is a reasonable constraint to take out the velocity of my #LaTeX #writing process. Reasonable candidates are obviously not recent fancy software, but old versions of Word, #Claris #MacWrite and #WordPerfect. #apple #macintosh #os2 #mac
Something else came to my mind: Not a long time ago, saving/archiving things (personal/business) as #PDF files was not that common, PDF & PostScript was rather deluxe used in #DTP So we find historical stuff in the file formats they were edited in. Magical Renegades ✨The #Webnovel adaptations of ep. 19-21 are in-progress and I might get chapters 19 and 20 published this weekend. This is a #WIP screenshot showing the opening to chapter 19 which I’ve drafted in #MacWrite!
Chapter 20 starts with a new scene; Roberta serves cake and tea at the League HQ before Imperatrix tells her group about how she created the new timeline! I sketched a couple of quick illustrations for that scene!
The #Webnovel adaptations of ep. 17 and 18 are in-progress; chapter 17 will be an ambitious change with a lot of extra dialogue to bridge gaps between a major scene and the end of the episode.
Since I’m inspired by MARCHintosh I’m starting my drafts this month in #MacWrite to show that this old program is still very usable and a nice writing experience!
Mark Gardner@trlvn @film_girl This is not a bad take. The #VisionPro may well herald a new computing paradigm the same way the original #Macintosh did, even though #Apple only bundled #MacPaint and #MacWrite for consumers.
They say it will ship with spatial versions of #Safari, Photos, Music, Messages, TV, Freeform, Notes, Mail, Keynote, Mindfulness, #FaceTime, and an #AppStore for #AppleArcade, bespoke and compatible #iPhone and #iPad apps.
Sounds like more than “just a dev kit.”
