macOS Sequoiaは15だったのに、次のTahoeでいきなり26へ。
「macOS 16じゃないの？」と思った方向けに、バージョン番号が飛んだ理由をまとめました。

macOSだけが特別に進んだわけではなく、AppleがiOS 26 / iPadOS 26 / watchOS 26 など主要OSの番号を「2026年世代」としてそろえた、みたいです。
