Had a fun weekend in Lincolnshire in the van - almost entirely inspired by the desire to take the dog to more beaches.

We stayed at a small, quiet, adult-only site near Louth and went to Theddlethorpe beach on Friday (Rosey enjoyed splashing in the shallow water pools while I made squishy footprints in the silt), then to Mablethorpe on Saturday & Sunday (great beach with fab sea, especially for a few hours either side of high tide).

Lovely little break. Donuts were consumed.

#mablethorpe

There were some angry skies in Mablethorpe yesterday.

Bryony | Lifestyle | family | foodie on Instagram: "𝙎𝙪𝙢𝙢𝙚𝙧 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙮𝙘𝙖𝙮 - The family and I had a lovely time in the sun (and rain) while staying in the caravan at (was has become) one of our annual summer activities. There was a music festival on - where my mum grinded up against a fake Robbie Williams - called Grange Fest so it was a whole afternoon and evening of various tribute acts and a DJ Set! Always fun to watch. Other activities wise we went to a kids disco, there was a nearby park to play in, Arcade and a little water area with sand to keep them busy. The site is set in 170 acres of open countryside - at The Grange there is a range of on-park activities, including fishing, Bingo, Talent Show, Quizzes as well as there being a cafe and show bar and you can even take-away. The kids weren't fussed by the evening entertainment as by 8pm after a long day playing they were done in but loved being able to have the freedom to play safely in the sand and park. Featured here are some happy photos but it wouldn't be a typical staycay without kids having their tantrums! I also think I heard "I'm hungry" 50 million times straight after eating. Summer so far has been busy! 📌 𝘈𝘭𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘥 𝘙𝘰𝘢𝘥, 𝘔𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘳𝘱𝘦."

Squeezed in a quick visit to the #UK to catch up with our mums. Five different airports in six days made it happen. Great nostalgic visits to Dundum #Castle, Tyrella #beach & Spelga Dam in NI, followed by a Trans Pennine train, #Mablethorpe beach and dog walks in the #Lincolnshire Wolds. Families seen, hugs had, duties done, we're now back home in a gloriously sunny #France for a wee rest.
