To swap the pickups or take apart the new one to try to repair the old one?

If I swap, I'll tear up the pickguard and maybe replace pots and caps to accommodate the new pickup.

Otherwise, I'll rip one coil out of the cute new pickup and cram it into the old pickup?

This Japanese SG copy isn't valuable, but it is weird and rare.
