Ness pulled up next to him, and they turned west for home, longing for the cool, fresh breeze of the ocean. 𝘐’𝘮 𝘢𝘯 𝘪𝘥𝘪𝘰𝘵. Outside of town, his gut turned as he realized that he had missed everything—the silly ice cream, the non-talking, the goodbye. On reflection, it all seemed like a sign to take a chance on love, which he clued into too late.⁣

Lost my last grandparent yesterday. I got the news late in my work day. Fortunately I had plans to play games with friends with a sleep over and I'm glad I did that. I'm pretty exhausted still. Not sure how to feel about things. I wasn't super close but she was the only grandparent that had anything to do with me as an adult. I am glad she got to meet my husband and she was accepting of me and loved me. #lovelost #remembered #grandparent
