Lovecraft Country, die Serienadaption, hat ja einen 'fürchterlichen' Spannungsbogen: 7 Episoden lang ein abwechslungsreiches Auf und Ab von etwas Horror, Cliffhangern, gesellschaftlicher Grausamkeit und persönlichem Drama. Und dann eine Episode, die das alles auf 11 hoch dreht, während dich irgendein Tentakel von hinten packt und in einen Abgrund reißt.
Danach zwei Episoden Schlusssprint, bei denen ich nicht alles verstanden habe. Aber sie konnten... 1/2

I heard the book "Lovecraft Country." I rather liked it. A fine mix of supernatural horror and the very real horror of Jim Crow. My fave parts were Horace and the Devil Doll, and the one where all the dads got together to do a magical museum robbery.
