PaseoBaggage➤The final fight was underwhelming. I beat it on my second try.
➤Attack patterns were basic, I could block fully, and my armor meant I was taking little damage. I only died the first time when he summons some dudes and shoots lines of fire (which actually did a ton of damage). I barely touched my potions.
➤There's some endcards describing your journey. I got a good (?) ending for not using the rune and I "was not interested in the secrets of this world" since I missed a bunch of stuff.
➤The game feels a little barebones and jank, but I had a really good time with it! Certainly it was a good introduction to this style of game without having soul crushing difficulty.
➤I would have liked a better explanation of the stats and spells and a way to track the sidequests.

➤Turns out I picked up a better sword at some point. More energy cost, but faster than the axe. No rune slot though.
➤Decided to farm a little before advancing. Got my multiplier up (2x is the max) and then fought my way through the citadel. I was getting about 2000 xp per enemy and leveled up four times.
➤I found a chest I missed and got my ninth bottle.
➤I had to adjust some runes to some new armor and it turns out I had a major choice to make with the special rune from Adyr. I was too indecisive to pick between offense or defense so I gave it up instead.
➤I was hoping to back up my save just in case, but I couldn't find where Heroic put it.
➤No conversation with Antanas. He's just some big mutant guy now.
➤Strange this fight starts at the top of the tower until you do a little health bar of damage. Even when you respawn you continue after it drops down to an open area. I guess there's no point in redoing that small section.
➤So you don't actually fight Adyr. He shows you your stats for beating the lords (neat!) and explains it was his plan for you to beat them. Then you get a special rune.
➤Your sage friend is a "true judge" and advises its your choice to use the rune or not.
➤You get teleported back to the citadel and get into a surprise double battle with fire and lightning lizard guys
➤As I stated, I haven't saved and I'm carrying a load of experience from the last boss fight.
➤(Had I remembered I have a consumable to retrieve dropped souls I probably could have backtracked to save. There was a portal)
➤After a couple of losses I decide to take out the lightning guy first and avoid the fire guy. Sometimes one will hang on the ceiling so its 1v1 for a bit.
➤The remaining guy will absorb the powers of the fallen one.
➤I got down to one hit from death and clutched out a win. I had to bait out the slash so I could counter and avoid the fire/AOE attacks.
➤Okay, so I pulled some switches and I thought this big demon looking guy was the lord. I let Yetka time travel with the guy to see her family.
➤The mission is "completed", but it displayed the same goal. After wandering around for awhile in circles I finally looked up where I was supposed to go.
➤Yeah, there was a short cutscene of a block moving down, but it was still unclear.
➤This boss is tough. It took a bit to find when i could go in for a hit consistently. My dodging was mostly on point and the boss sometimes would keep chaining the same attack so I could keep getting hits in.
➤In the back half the boss starts shooting lightning. I kept getting stunned and eating the whole thing. Look away from the light, maybe? The tower shield lets you bunker down and this was sufficient to start dodging with minimal damage.
➤Normally I backtrack to the last savepoint after beating a boss, but I didn't. This was a mistake...
➤I fought some poison beast. Kind of tough because I still got poisoned even if I blocked.
➤I didn't know where to go for these other side quests so I decided to just continue on.
➤Yetka suggests I can avoid the next boss to show me something, but I have no idea what path around she was talking about.
➤This boss was a little tricky. He does a long combo which I could block, but wouldn't have the energy to counterattack after.
➤The guy who wanted the skulls is just gone. I didn't realize the sidequest was limited.
➤New area to seek out the last lord. There's these ghost enemies you can only hurt with magic. I'm crawling through this area because I have to wait for my MP bar to recharge several times over for each one.
➤I got a better rune for my axe, but I'd still like to find a better one. I've found multiple greataxes, poleswords, and broadswords at this point.
➤I fought the Champion and won on the first try. He's pretty quick, but it wasn't too bad of a fight.
➤It turns out this is where I was supposed to go. Nice.
➤Okay, Antanas wants me to fight a god. The plan is to seek out the remaining lords and beat them. My sage friend suspects something is up though...
➤Lots of sidequests I can do. If only there was a way to keep track of them.
➤Oh yeah, that monk wanted me to find the signs of Antanas and I've had that thing equipped in my armor to reveal them. I have not found any. Silly, I could just lead him directly there now that I have access.
➤I can shoot open those orange symbols.
➤Troll boss is rough. Huge reach and damage and getting in to attack is difficult. Running in burns all your stamina. The hitbox for the heel is janky and the targeting will just untarget randomly. Blocking the attacks is inconsistent.
➤I feel my damage is starting to fall off. I to find another axe or sword
➤In this hostile realm some screaming dude is asking for human skulls in exchange for a magic shield. I'm on board for this deal as long as he doesn't ask why I'm carrying these skulls around. Also, he wants more than I have so I need to find more.
➤I'm getting real annoyed at these fire archers. Funny how the damage is reduced if I'm shielding. How does a shield block fire that's on you?
➤I was going to backtrack for some of those portals, but I guess I'll head to the dungeon area again since I was right there.
➤Those buttons I kept finding? Your prayer can hold them down. I've been missing secrets this whole time.
➤Lots of bugs here. A closed door looked open because the model was offset. I also grabbed an item through a wall. I fell in a hole and died, but respawned in the same room.
➤Opening and checking all these jail cells is tedious. There's stuff most of the time.
➤Arena seems to be open, let's check it out...
