Guten Morgen,

gestern habe ich die erste ‚Gehörnte Mauerbiene‘ (Osmia cornuta) in einem meiner Lieblingssträucher, der Winterheckenkirsche (Lonicera purpusii), entdeckt.
Pflanzt mehr Winterhecke und rettet Wildbienen. 😉

For Christmas decoration wreaths, why not use cuttings from your Lonicera pruning, easy to form to wreaths. The ones to the right is from last year, still in good shape (they don't fall apart before the festive month is over).

Bush honeysuckles (Lonicera spp.) are commonly found in wooded areas and are often admired for their sweet fragrance and showy flowers. However, these non-native shrubs are invasive in much of the U.S., where they outcompete understory plants and reduce biodiversity.

@PeterHald @kas jeg vil vove en hypotese om der sker nogle hormonelle ændringer i planten, når den ikke længere kan vokse opad og henad og den begynder at blive skygget for meget (bl.a. af sig selv).
Ligesom rigtig mange planter først starter på blomstring når de ikke har mere at kravle opad på, f.eks. mange Clematis og #Lonicera
Har @pms mon kommenteret planteadfærden?
