The soil is a mix of 50% flower soil and 50% cultivation soil.

My experiment didn’t work so far. The #Loganberry cuttings did not grow any visible roots at all – but they also did not wither, so at least something is working.

After some research I got mixed answers.

Some basically say “just YOLO it, they will grow under any conditions at any spot in the garden, just put them in the ground”. Others say “they will die instantly if the following conditions are not met 100% …”.

I think it’s more like something in between. Especially because the mother plant grows under my friggin porch between stone plates and with bad light and survived at least three attempts to get rid of it.

I think I’ll get some pots and let them grow in soil instead of trying to have them root in water.

If everything works as expected, they will grow roots and can be planted outside right before first frost.
