The tranquil ruins of Ardchattan Priory, close to the north shore of Loch Etive in Argyll. In 1308 King Robert the Bruce held what is said to have been the last Scottish Parliament conducted in Gaelic here during a military expedition. Ben Starav, Beinn nan Aighenan, and Glas Bheinn Mhòr from Glen Etive. A long 9.5 hour day, over 1800 metres of ascent, and the walk out was a slog on tired feet, but rewarded with stunning views and great weather.
