My initial attempt at localising Turscar Isle into Irish...because "turscar" itself is the Irish word for spam.
Any "mistakes" within are *ackshually* the spammers' archaic dialect!!1! 😜

#IA rend fou!

Does anyone in the #localisation and/or #freelancing bubble here have got any tips for how I would efficiently break out of the "single client" death loop into sustainable client acquisition?
I have been doing this job for several years now and it's been amazing. I'm just afraid of betting everything on one horse. If the agency that hires me most goes under for any reason I lose my livelihood.
My current ideas are in the replies:

What is up with the official #Minecraft website localisation into German?
Not only is the website only partly localised, it's also full of bizarre misspellings and mistakes.
"Disen beitrag teilen" should be "Diesen Beitrag teilen". Those aren't even common or understandable spelling mistakes to make, it's close to being incomprehensible or baby talk.
Is it a joke I'm missing?
I'm amazed at how ignorant US software companies can be when it comes to international time and date formats. Ever noticed that #Zoom in their German DE #localisation still uses US date and time format, i.e. that weird month before day and only 12 hours - *but simply doesn't print am/pm*?
It's not like there's literal standard library stuff that does this (okay, it's often borked, but come-on, you bother shoving AI in everyone's face, start with i18n and l10n before LLM!)
