They developed a prototype #LMP3 #racecar made from sustainable materials, powered by... sewage. Or rather, sewage treatment technology which involves microbes feeding on waste producing #hydrogen by-product - it is this hydrogen is fuel for the car. A supercharged #V6 engine from #RevolutionCars has been converted to burn hydrogen and run like a normal internal-combustion engine.

Wild race in the Falken Sports Car Challenge.
Wet conditions had me 2s off the pace, but I kept it together—until a spin at Blanchimont.
Stopped just short of the wall, only to get rear-ended by someone else who also lost it.

　12月にマレーシアで開幕する、AsLMSアジアン・ル・マン・シリーズ2024／2025シーズンの暫定エントリーリストが更新され、グリッドに並ぶマシンの台数が、先月発表されたリストの44台から45台へと増加した。 　マレーシアのセパン・サーキットでの開幕2連戦を皮切りに、年を跨いだ来年2月にアラブ首長国連邦（UAE）のドバイ・アウトドローモで週末2連戦を、同じくUAEのアブダビはヤス・マリーナ・サーキットで第5戦と最終戦のダブルヘッダーが実施される今季のAsLMS。

　7月2日、シャシーコンストラクターのアデスは、来季2025年からELMSヨーロピアン・ル・マン・シリーズとミシュラン・ル・マン・カップに登場予定の“第3世代”LMP3チャレンジャー『アデスAD25』を発表した。 　WEC世界耐久選手権のハイパーカーを頂点とするプロトタイプ・ピラミッドにおいて、上から3番目に位置するカテゴリーの新車となるAD25は、オレカ社が開発したトヨタベースの3.5リッターV6ツインターボエンジンを搭載する。

　IDECスポールは、ELMSヨーロピアン・ル・マン・シリーズの新シーズンに向けて、1970年代初頭のル・マン24時間で優勝したマトラのマシンをオマージュした新たなカラーリングを発表した。 　フランスのチームが走らせるオレカ07ギブソンの28号車は、1972年、73年、74年にル・マンで3連勝を飾ったマトラ・シムカMS670とMS670Bにインスパイアされたブルーをまとい、ホワイトとゴールドのハイライトが施される。すでに発表されているように、ELMSとル・マンでステアリングを握るのは、ポール・ラファーグ、レシャド・デ・ゲルス、ヨブ・バン・ウィタートの3名だ。
