Thoughts on the #Opeth show yesterday @ #LaeiszhalleHamburg:

Sound wasn't good. Drums drowned out everything else. Pretty sure wanting to be near the front is a mistake for this kind of venue. If you divide the venue into three blocks (front, middle, back), you'll probably want to be in the middle one. I remember seeing #Lizzard @ #HeadcrashHamburg a while back, and the sound tech approached us, standing in front of the stage, and advised to go further back, because the sound wouldn't be good this close to the stage. 🤷‍♂️
