But newer hardware loads extra services.

BashCoreX mounts it clean. Silent. Instant.
eigenstilErnüchternd: ich habe gerade 1,5 Stunden lang versucht, wie ich "schnell" mal eine aktuelle #Linux Distribution per #LiveUSB ausprobieren kann.
Fazit: 3x mit #Unetbootin für #ubuntu und #fedora einen USB-Stick formatiert. Thinkpad bootet nicht vom Stick sondern fällt immer wieder ins #Windows rein. Auch mit F12 und dem ausgewählten USB-Stick gings nicht. Liegt bestimmt am #Thinkpad. Aber was muss ich anders machen?
Das ging vor 10-12 Jahren out of the box.
