Having just picked fresh potatoes, and realizing that my SO has a dinner out tonight, I rushed off to the local supermarket to pick up some liver!
A spontaneous opportunity for liver and onions – a favourite for me.
It's one of those love-it or hate-it meals, I recognize. Probably mostly the latter.

My SO will occasionally tolerate a liver-and-onions meal, but it rarely happens, other than when she's otherwise engaged.
Serving it up with an onions and mushrooms, a baked potato, beets, carrots.
Cooking for one this week means a good time for liver and onions! It isn't everyone's favourite.
Not the prettiest dish, but I took it to the next level with a nice spice seasoning and served it with mashed potatoes and corn. I created a rich gravy as well.
The potatoes were whipped with cream, white truffle oil and garden chives. Very tasty result!
