"Ride Like the Wind" is the debut single by American singer-songwriter #ChristopherCross. It was released in January 1980 as the lead single from his Grammy-winning 1979 self-titled debut album. It reached number two on the US charts for four consecutive weeks, behind "#CallMe" by #Blondie. On the album's inner sleeve, Christopher Cross dedicated this song to #LowellGeorge, formerly of the band #LittleFeat, who had died in 1979.

Perfect Imperfection
BarkyI thought I’d take a break from reviewing albums in the Rolling Stone Top 500 album list (2012 version) to post about one of my personal favorites that did not make the list.
This is an album from a band I’ve seen live a dozen times; a band in continual play in my household; an album from their best years, before the heart of the band — Lowell George — had not yet passed away, too young att 34 years old.
I’m talking about 𝘍𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘴 𝘋𝘰𝘯’𝘵 𝘍𝘢𝘪𝘭 𝘔𝘦 𝘕𝘰𝘸 by #LittleFeat (1974). #music
Mr. JackWhen I was in a good mood, probably still that high from my trivia team winning at the American Legion, I agreed to play at one of my neighbors’ holiday parties.
So, that means I have a little less than a week to work on a set list and get back to being good at rock guitar. After you know spending most of the last two years refining my country guitar skills.
So, my cheat code is to play all 60s and 70s country rock.
