@Mumintroll HWFWM is a fantastic series. I just finished book 1 for the third time, re-listening to the series in anticipation of the new book in about 3 months.
I can't compare it to the reading experience, but the audiobooks in the #litrpg genre are some of the best audiobook productions I know. I picked up Heretical Fishing in part because it's read by Heath Miller! And if my backlog of books and podcasts hits 0, I'll just get whatever else Jeff Hays reads aside from DCC.

@HeyeBodo At the moment I'm totally into LitRPGs. It started with Dungeon Crawler Carl, now I read (and listen to) He who fights with monsters.

No serious literature, but light-hearted, silly but sometimes surprisingly deep and profound. Just the right mixture for my actual state of mind at the moment

Do SSS-talent openings still work if progression stays interesting, or is the trope oversaturated?
