There are multiple #tartans for the Clan Scott. The #kilts in the photos are "Black & Grey Bespoke" tartan. They're accurate.

While there are no rules abt which Clan #tartan is to be worn, this one is generally associated with the Border Scotts.

However, #Scotty 's canonical birthplace is #Linlithgow , which is not a "Border town." It's located in West Lothian, in the central part of #Scotland , west of #Edinburgh .

The Avon Aqueduct near Linlithgow. Built in 1821, it carries the Union Canal over the valley of the River Avon and at 250 metres in length, it's the longest aqueduct in Scotland. The Union Canal was built in the 1820s to connect to the existing Forth and Clyde Canal to Edinburgh and by doing so provide an inland navigation between Edinburgh and Glasgow.
