Since I missed the heyday of #Lineage2 I decided to challenge myself by doing a complete quest play-through on a low rate server. I started a new character on l2reborn.org since it seemed pretty active. I started on signature 1x, but goddamn I do not have the time, it may have been years before I saw another player. Luckily they just launched a 5x server(for the working adult 😘 ). So here goes my attempt! I rolled a Orc and I plan to go Monk! The adventure of vWasp begins.

Modern MMOs feel empty because there is zero risk. Lineage 2 had 4-10% xp loss and gear drops. It forced you to rely on your clan. That high stakes world is why it remains the peak. #Lineage2

Got another itch to see if Lineage 2 is still online, and boy oh boy, is it a pain in the ass to get NCSoft's "Purple" launcher to run and be stable on Linux
