We went on a hunt for E.B and met Hopkins in the Potting Shed, helped solve a Gardener Rabbitโ€™s biggest Easter conundrum, met the Egg Box Artist - turning every egg into a masterpiece (loved the bubbles that appeared too) danced in the Chocolate Factory with Coco the Chocolatier, while finding out all about creating the perfect chocolate egg with some Easter magic! The chocolate factory also smelt so so good - chocolate of course! Then at the end the kids received an Easter Egg which they gladly tucked into! We were lucky to of been gifted PR Tickets for this event and I'm so pleased we did! It really felt like a whole bucket list for halfterm ticked off! Managed to get alot of activities crossed off: โ€ข Mini golf โ€ข Met the animals on the farm - Little bunnies, chick's, there was a pregnant cow, calves, lambs etc. Plus other cute creatures like birds, donkey, alpacas and tortoises. โ€ขIndoor Soft Play - another area to tire them out! โ€ขAdventure Playground - the kids loved the giant slide and the silos. โ€ข Archery - Winnie didn't participate as she was too focused on chocolate. โ€ข Tractor Ride where we saw a sheep with her little lambs. โ€ข Air Cannon Arena - kids spent ages in there just blasting each other with soft balls. โ€ข Milking Demonstration of the lambs. โ€ข Go karting. We took a yummy picnic and ate in the sunshine but there is a cafe on site (they sell fruit tea which I was happy about), plus toilet facilities and a gift shop where there are alsorts of farm related foodies and branded gifts to take home! I've been taking the kids to Rand Farm since they were young and I always enjoy taking them - gets them off tech and into the fresh air and engaging with other children and animals. 10/10 Easter Activity ๐ŸคŒ"

I think it's great people continue to support and join in #LincsShow25 My family and I the last two years have loved to go, to experience a family day out - my sons favourite thing is the 'bee tent' as he loves all the products they make with natural honey. My youngest enjoys seeing all the farm animals and my teenager likes exploring and seeing the rich tapestry of things available like the local businesses on site. It's one of the county's flagship events with over 500 exhibitors each year. You can experience Lincolnshire's unique variety with shopping, horticulture displays, live music, equine and livestock competitions, children's activities, local food and drink, and fun entertainment (oh and the kids also love collecting freebies some tents like to offer like sweets!) We also liked the BMX display whilst eating freshly made ice-cream! There was also a 'human bowel' to explore (pictured on here) whilst learning about your health. There is: โ€ข Parking โ€ข Coach parking โ€ข Toilets โ€ข Dogs on leads โ€ข Linked to public transport โ€ข Groups welcome โ€ข Baby facilities โ€ข Food/drink โ€ข Entertainment The Lincolnshire Show is organised by the Lincolnshire Agricultural Society, a registered charity whose aims are to educate about food, farming and the countryside. All profits from events support their educational work, which engages with over 13,000 local children each year. The Lincolnshire Agricultural Society's rich history began in 1869. For over 155 years the Society has dedicated itself to promoting food, farming and the countryside through events such as the Lincolnshire Show. I remember my dad taking me round buildings when I was younger and I found it so boring, but as an adult I'm now the boring one and can appreciate a good archway ๐Ÿ˜‚ Little snippet of information from the website ๐˜ฉ๐˜ต๐˜ต๐˜ฑ๐˜ด://๐˜ญ๐˜ช๐˜ฏ๐˜ค๐˜ฐ๐˜ญ๐˜ฏ๐˜ค๐˜ข๐˜ต๐˜ฉ๐˜ฆ๐˜ฅ๐˜ณ๐˜ข๐˜ญ.๐˜ค๐˜ฐ๐˜ฎ/ - "Consecrated in the 11th century, Lincoln Cathedral has welcomed people through its doors for almost a thousand years.  It is one of the great Cathedrals of the world, attracting visitors of all ages and nationalities. The Cathedral is first and foremost a place of worship and pilgrimage.  The daily offering of prayer and praise, enriched by wonderful music, beats at the heart of the Cathedralโ€™s life.  Our services are open to all, and our welcome extends to people of all faiths and none. We are also a popular attraction for visitors to the city, and host a range of events throughout the year. Our Father Willis organ is one of the finest organs in the world. It us used every day for our services as well as special events. To ensure it always sounds its best it is tuned regularly; usually on a Wednesday in the middle of the month. If you visit us on organ tuning day, expect to hear long, continuous notes played as each note is checked and tuned. Itโ€™s not the most beautiful sound youโ€™ll hear from the organ, but it is necessary. To make sure every member of the family has fun, youโ€™ll find exciting activities and information around every corner as you explore the Cathedral. At the welcome desk you can pick up a themed backpack. For younger children, there is an activity trolley with books, dressing-up, puppets and much more. We aim to provide a space which is welcoming to all and are committed to inclusive practices through staff training and physical adaptations where possible." I had a look at the events they have on and they range from the stained glass tour, commemoration of Holocaust memorial day, Historic Graffiti tours, Guided roof tours, an evening of Radiohead, Queen by candlelight and much more! There's also educational tours for schools, family fun or just people just wanting to visit.
