JimmyI love the Philips Ultra Definition LEDs, but I’ve had two of them fail in the same odd way. The higher color temperature (3k?) leds stop working, and only the warmer (2k?) leds work.

While I knew how LED bulbs function, I’d not caught up on the mass manufacturing of them. It’s so fascinating to me what part of it is manual and what is automated… factory design and automation is a fascinating engineering problem that needs to balance human nature, current cost efficient line of automation and then depreciation + determine how the arc moves when it comes to manufacturing automation.
