The joy of living in HQ aka motorhome while doing admin. Yesterday, she was in for MOT, while waiting I called up and booked a gas check, near the place where we are getting the heating system fixed, less driving around you see.

Just after picking up HQ with a MOT that she passed \o/ I started to smell gas. Parked up, checked all the connections and that the gas was turned off. All good but nose and gas checking toll said that there were gas leaking. Unhooked everything, took the tanks out and found that the safety valve had kicked in.

Somehow the shaking about at the garage and standing in the sun made especially one tank, the full one, annoyed so the pressure got to high for the safety valve.

Left the cannister outside for the night and the valve isn't leaking anymore this morning. Sadly I found that one of the seals had broken, so new parts needs to be ordered. And the stupidity of it all it's not just a bit of rubber seal, it's the whole fecking hose. More money for something that works just fine but manufacturers wants to make more coin and therefore more waste.

So no running before tonight hopefully as we are clocking 28c by early afternoon.
