Catching up on travel photos from my trip to the #LibreGraphicsMeeting in Nuremberg a couple weeks ago. LGM is always a great collection of interesting projects from people who care about creativity and helping other people enact theirs, actually doing what AI companies at great cost only promise! This, for instance, was from Simon Budig's soldering workshop making a custom pcb light up.

Zu meiner Überraschung gab es beim #libregraphicsmeeting 2026 einen #soldering Workshop https://libregraphicsmeeting.org/2026/program/workshop_soldering/

Ich habe nur sehr wenig Erfahrung mit THT, hier kamen SMDs und ein sehr schön entworfenes PCB zum Einsatz. Das Ergebnis funktionierte auch dank der guten Tipps während des Workshops auf Anhieb. Erst später auf dem Foto habe ich ein paar Lötstellen entdeckt, die man hätte besser machen können.

Eine wirklich gute Idee und schöne Gestaltung von @nomis. Das hat großen Spaß gemacht! Danke :)

I'm in a train and feeling #happy, because I spent 4 days chatting with people who I share values with, hearing their stories and seeing their work. Creative people who build and use Free Libre tools to do #games #photography #video #typography #livecoding and much more. A community with many friends that has been meeting for up to 20 years.
