After much lollygagging, foot-dragging, some dawdling, a touch of dillydallying, and a bit of shilly-shallying, I've migrated my reading library & tracking over to #LibraryThing. So far, so good.
New Year's resolution acheived. 🎉

Just in time for a little nostalgic binge of Niven's Ringworld books as a respite from the world. I haven't done much, if any, review writing. Maybe that will change after escaping that horrendous UI.

Today I scanned about 100 books into my #librarything library.

This app and website kinda suck, and I'm told it's the best option out there for tracking a physical library? Really??

Yeah, there are lots of possibilities as to where to store a snippet of "I put this book on reserve because ...". I use #Librarything on and off, I could make a list there. I use @Obsidian and create pages for things I haven't done yet. And I have a @gitea issue tracker where I can open (and close) tasks to remind me later.

No shortage of technological answers, just noting a common problem I have heard myself say: why on earth did I put this on hold?
