#ScribesAndMakers 3/30: "Do birds ever feature in your work? Give an example

When I had my quilt business, a few customers would ask for bird-themed quilts, mostly owls for some reason? But this one I made for me. It’s a modification of the Sew Fresh Quilts black bird pattern into #Jayhawks on the Kaw (the quilting on the blue background looks like flowing water)

I’m vacillating about whether to do this pattern again with corvids - it was a lot of fun to sew
