If you're a cinephile, you might recognize the song it samples: Vois sur ton chemin, from Les Choristes (2004), composed and directed Bruno Coulais, performed by Les Petits Chanteurs de Saint-Marc.

And if the rapper sounds familiar, it's the late Dooz Kawa: T-Kaï Cee was his original group before he went solo.

It's a wonderful piece of ekphrasis: it takes the original song, and the context of the story of the film, and builds something new that is connected but also stands on its own.
