So sad to hear about the death of Dorothy Allison. Her writing had a big impact on my younger self, especially the collection of essays, Skin: Talking about Sex, Class and Literature

If you'd like an entry into Allison's work, I'd probably go for the memoir, 'Two or Three Things I Know for Sure', or the short story collection, 'Trash'.
