The Black Monarch’s Castle (6085) was released in 1988 as part of the Black Knights series. It contains 525 pieces and includes 12 minifigures, making it one of the largest castles of its time.
The structure is built in a black color scheme, featuring a large gate tower at the front and two defensive towers at the back. Key elements include a working drawbridge and a portcullis. There's also a small prison cell in the courtyard.
