Does the #ZackSnyder movie about #EdgelordOwls also have a scene where an old, wisened critter with a walking staff talks about becoming an All Slut Slut Phoenix Echidna Slut? Because that would be awesome and I might actually watch it for that alone.
In my quest to find GENUINE criticism of this movie in video essay form continues. Hubby did find a video by Nostalgia Critic that I don't think was the one I watched. We both find him insufferable, and this isn't the video criticism I had already seen, because that was a quite good video essay by a quite good video essayist.
If you have a URL to a video that is critical of "Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole" please post. These videos are suspiciously absent when doing Google or YouTube searches; only the gamut of faint praise to ebullient praise seems to be discoverable now.

My husband just told me how Tina Fey and Matt Damon took the piss out of LEGEND OF THE GUARDIANS: THE OWLS OF GA'HOOLE on the show 30 Rock. The episode is called "Double Edged Sword" (you'll need to watch the full episode, the clips leave off the comedy gold).
Matt Damon as Carol — an adult airline pilot — goes all reverant weepy teenager over the edgelord owls because Carol couldn't handle a woman disagreeing with him. The escalation during the waiting on the tarmac scenes is comedy gold.
