Dear diary: it's been only a day and a few hours into 2026 and thanks to a boost from @justine I've already discovered the best open source app for document scanning on Android. A master piece written by @pynicolas and called #FairScan . Light, effective and a breeze to use. I'll be using it to scan work documents and will highly recommend and install it on my colleagues Android devices to replace that filthy #CamScanner data harvester. Seems 2026 might off to a good start.

"#Courts... often encounter #antisemitism indirectly, addressing it through adjacent #legal concepts such as proportionality, neutrality, constitutional loyalty, or public security—concepts that were not developed with antisemitism as their primary object.

This post examines how #German courts navigate this tension by analyzing three recent cases drawn from different areas of #law: #labor law, #citizenship law, and #civilservice law. The cases are taken from the Seeing Antisemitism Through Law (SATL) database, a comparative research project that examines how antisemitism appears—or fails to appear—in #legalpractice."

This is going to be one of the most fully formed posts I have written. What’s taking weeks to write is becoming a night work. I spent more time gestating and researching than the mechanical task of writing. I’m sure I can come up with more ways to be even more effective. Wow. #AI https://www.alt-counsel.com/the-solo-counsel-reality-what-minlaws-ai-guidelines-miss-about-in-house-practice/
