I'm now at 110 miles on this bike and would definitely like the throttle to be programmed differently ๐Ÿ˜’ and the seatpost angle to be dutchier. But it's got good power and will happily cruise Barbur at 20mph, despite the crude delivery (cadence sensor, sharp ramp-up, useless throttle program.) I have not tried to unlimit it yet, but it would probably get 28mph up some of those long hills... I have to sit further back at 30mph going down, it's a little sketchy. #BikeTooter #eBikes #lectricOne

Terwilliger to Tigard on Barbur Blvd with the #lectricOne eBike: 16min, 5.4miles +272ft. I think it was 51.8V ~89% (but did not write it down.) After a 16.2mi group ride on mostly flat, it was at 51.6V ~87% (67%, effectively) Return trip: 17min, +515ft climbing. 48.6V ~59% (39%) + stopped twice to move "road work" signs out of the bike lane (ODOT "safety" projects, with nobody working.)

They have a lot more painted bike lanes to Hall now #pdxBikes, albeit fing sharrows at i5 and 217 ramps ๐Ÿ™ƒ

The current state of my cargo situation with the #lectricOne: a bag, bungee, and lock borrowed off my other bike. (Can't hook at the bottom of the rack bcs brake disk there would rub the hook ๐Ÿคช#nPlus1problems #bikeTooter #eBikes
The #lectricOne has a range of about 800-1000ft, which is around 24 miles in this particular use-case of hauling my 200lb over a 100ft hill a couple times and then downtown, around the east side a bit, and back up Terwilliger (+500ft) where it was limping at 350W max, maybe 15mph with effort. Battery at 44.8V = "25%" state of charge ๐Ÿ˜’ so "long range" 670Wh battery actually only does 500Wh at over 500W. I might want to change the levels to 9 to pace it out more, something between 200W and 0?

The pinion gearbox in the #lectricOne is rather high-geared, and level one is 200W - how do you get 100W? Not with the throttle, it's basically on or off in level 1. Once the battery is nearly dead, the controller limits level 2 and above ๐Ÿ˜’ could I get the source code for this?

Maybe if I set it to have 9 levels? I ended up switching between 1 and 0 for about 5-10 sec.

#newBikeDay for my #lectricOne was last week but this was the first longer ride, real hills test, and the mountains came out for it.
Riding the #lectricOne around a bit and I'm just astounded that they put a throttle on it and then mapped it to do the stupidest behavior imaginable. The fatbike hub motor has a lot of torque in the 20in wheel (2.3in not-really-fat tires) so pedal-assist level 5 hits hard if you're not pointed uphill, even level 1 is a bit severe. But if you're in level 0, the throttle does nothing, in level 1 it's limited, so you have to turn it to 5 to get full throttle command. Why have a throttle? #eBikes
Itโ€™s a terrible idea to sell a Class 3 ebike with zero suspension. Hit a pothole at 45kph and you and/or your cargo will go flying. #LectricOne #BikeTooter
