I have reworked the "German Folklore Map" on my website, replacing the old Google Maps-based version with one that uses #Leaflet .

Your thoughts?

German Folklore Map

The German Folklore Map showcases the locations of the various legends I have translated, as well as links to both my translations and the original German source material.

Has anyone here experience with the #Leaflet plugin for #WordPress ?

I'm trying to put two separate Leaflet maps on the same page.

My approach was to use two separate shortcode blocks, each starting with:

[leaflet-map]

And then I put the shortcode for the individual markers (using "leaflet-extramarker") into the relevant blocks.

However, what actually happened is that all markers ended up in the lower map, and the upper map remains blank.

Is there any way of making sure each marker ends up in the correct map?

EDIT: Some further experiments seem to indicate that the problem lies with the two [listmarker] commands.

EDIT2: I've decided to put the maps on separate pages.

Okay, the new interactive map for my first book seems (located at the bottom of the page) seems to work.

Now to do the map for my second book.

Day 93. Cluj-Napoca 5-minute walk 🚶

This one is intentionally small and local: how much of a city becomes reachable within roughly five minutes on foot?

The map stays centred on Cluj-Napoca and keeps the visual language simple (Three.js/WebGL), while Openrouteservice provides walking isochrones over Stamen Design tiles and OpenStreetMap data.

Day 92. Hong Kong Crosshatch 🏙️

Sometimes it is not about adding more data, but changing how you see the same city.

Hong Kong in a pen-and-ink mood: crosshatch shaders in Tangram (WebGL), navigation in Leaflet, and line density doing the heavy lifting for streets, shoreline, and urban mass.

I am currently testing an interactive map for my website which displays the location of the tales in my book by number.

It's at the bottom of this page. Tell me what you think!

EDIT: The new map is _below_ the Google Map at the top of the page - be sure to check the correct map!
