started this in 2023 then I was intimidated to continue drawing, a mental block, sort of. I have used less layers to draw and paint lately, so I thought I can pull this one right. I guess merging layers is my current favorite coping mechanism to deal with stuck projects, haha.

I'm learning to finish illustration faster by reducing layers. it's quite effective I think to limit my focus. while imperfections show here and there, I still think getting it done without feeling burned out will be very worth it.

drew something last week. I love how smug he can be. and I'm tempted to watch Dr. Stone when I saw some Gen clip when I was looking for reference.

I know I have so many wips (esp. the stardew project) but im cooking on simpler #celshading style on this. if the reception on this style good, I can save time to make the stardew pieces with this style instead.
