Joe, you mentioned on the last LNL how it isn’t as much fun to talk about FOSS as it used to be. You’re right, it used to be all good news. And now it’s all Linux vulnerabilities and infighting (AI, office suites, X11 vs Wayland, etc etc).
FOSS used to seem like one big notion we could all unite around, and now not so much. Have we fans of FOSS lost our way? Have we lost our identity? Are we being overtaken by enshittification?
