Film #3 of Hooptober X: In SPAAAAAAAAAAAAACE What an aggressively “okay” film. There’s nothing especially risible about The Last Voyage of the Demeter. This long-in-development hell movie about the one chapter in Dracula where the vampire is carried to London on a boat is…fine in all of its various aspects. The acting is solid enough, the production design is good, there’s some good gore and I’m okay with the batlike version of Dracula. I have no major complaints about any of that.
